Imagine riding in a reindeer boat sledge throught the village of Lokka, in the heart of the Sompio area. Here you can forget your busy everyday life as you enjoy the wilderness and peaceful environment guided by a skilled reindeer farmer.

During the sledge ride we´ll stop for campfire coffee and wheat bread and you can grill sausages by the fire. The reindeer farmer will introduce you to reindeer herding and its economy. If you like, you may try your hand at the lasso. Additional activities are possible by pre-booking.

If you like, you can go hunting and fishing in the Sompio wilderness area. You can book meals and accommodation in the village of Lokka (Look images:  image 1 | image 2 | image 3 ). From Lokka there are snowmobile if necessary. You are welcome to visit the reindeer farm in Lokka during other seasons as well!
